A House in Fez author back in Morocco.


Suzanna Clarke and Mustapha

Suzanna Clarke is back in Fez and the first thing she did was present a copy of her book, A House in Fez, to the man most responsible for the restoration of her riad. Mustapha worked on Riad Zany for over a year as the 'malam' in charge of all stone and brick work. In that time he and Suzanna became firm friends and so for her it was a pleasure to be able to present him with a copy of the book in which he features.
