Coronavirus Morocco goes into phase 3 of deconfinement, new relaxations


Here are the easing measures that take effect this Monday, July 20 at midnight:

- tourist establishments will be authorised to use 100% of their accommodation capacity. On the other hand, common areas such as swimming pools, restaurants, fitness rooms, etc. may not exceed 50% of their capacities.

-public passenger transport, urban and interurban, may reach 75% of its capacity under specific conditions to be announced.

-Official sports competitions will be authorized, but behind closed doors.

- events and gatherings with a maximum of 20 people will be allowed.

-reopening of cultural centres, museums, libraries, monuments, without exceeding 50% of their capacities.

All other restrictions remain in effect such as the ban on weddings, funeral ceremonies, cinemas, public swimming pools ...

The government calls on citizens to exercise the utmost vigilance and to scrupulously respect the wearing of masks, distancing, hygiene measures, knowing that summer activities and those of Aid Al Adha are conducive to the spread of the virus.
The government recalls that in the event of the appearance of clusters, any industrial, commercial, service or tourist unit will be closed. And that any neighborhood or area will be placed in strict quarantine when needed and their access hermetically sealed in both directions.
