So, how was the 12th edition of the Fes Sacred Music Festival?
No matter who you talk to, the festival was stunning. It was especially another huge triumph for the remarkably energetic and talented Director General, Faouzi Skali. It was also a feast of music for the audience who came from all over the world to experience the event. From the spoken word forums, through the free events to the major concerts, it went without a problem.
The Festival has grown in recent years and may have trouble expanding. Should it get bigger? Possibly not. For those of us who worked behind the scenes recording the events it was a wonderful time and we look forward to the next one.
Congratulations to all involved from the musicians, organiser, techicians and engineers, through to the volunteers. Marbruk, marbruk!
