Fez Medina - photographer Suzanna ClarkeMorocco's Fez Medina is probably one of the most photogenic locations on the planet. Yet many of the photographs and postcards are cliches - "mysterious" "timeless" - orientalist fantasies.
Then again there are those photographs that work not just as memories of Fez, but are actually good photographs in their own right.

I have loved Suzanna Clarke's photographs on this blog for months. She should have an exhibition oor publish a book of her work on Morocco. Truly beautiful photographs.
I also find the site interesting for all the news and great stories. I have been to Fes twice and would love to return soon.
