The 16th edition of the International Festival of Nomads will be held from April 4 to April 6 in M'hamid El Ghizlane, in the province of Zagora
A rich and diversified program has been concocted for this edition, between concerts, conferences, demonstrations of activities and traditional sports (camel racing, sand hockey ...) and other artistic activities, according to a statement from the organisers.
This international cultural event will be marked by the participation of artists from different regions of Morocco as well as Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, Congo and Algeria, adds the same source.
Musicans will include Nouamane Lahlou, but also Mehdi Nassouli, Cheick Tidiane Seck, the Algerian musician-performer Hasna El Bécharia, Takrist Nakal and Abdallah Oumbadougou, Mariaa Siga and Nabil Othmani.
The Nomades Festival, an annual free multidisciplinary event that invites people from around the world to come and celebrate the richness and diversity of the nomadic culture, is an opportunity to promote tourism in the Drâa Tafilalet region.
