Fes Festival of Sufi Culture

Director Faouzi Skalli is gearing up for the opening of the first Fes Festival of Sufi Culture on Friday 27 April. Tickets for the opening night cost Dh100, but thereafter it’s free of charge.

It’s all taking place at the exquisite Palais Mokri in the Ziat quarter of the medina. Days are filled with lectures and discussion on aspects of Sufism such as art and poetry and the role of Sufism in human development, which will be summed up from 16h00-18h00 on Wednesday 2 May. Evenings of concerts by various Sufi brotherhoods promise an entrancing variety of music.
