Fez Weather Forecast Leading Up to Eid al-Adha

If the weather forecasters are to be believed, Morocco is in for an early burst of winter weather. Though officially still autumn, and with trees only now changing colour in the mountains, the outlook for the days leading up to the celebration of Eid al-Adha, is for cold, wet weather. 

So, if you have been putting off buying an umbrella (who knows where the last one went?), then now is the time. It may also be the right time to get out your winter djellaba.




Here is what the weather gurus have to say about the next few days in Fez

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a high of 24 Celsius and a low of 10
Thursday brings a 40% chance of rain and temperatures between 19 down to 11
Friday - 70% chance of rain and a temperature range from 16 to 9 degrees. The winds will pick up and reach around 30 kph from the WSW
Saturday will also be windy (35 kph WSW) and temperatures between 13 and 8 degrees
Sunday the winds swing between the West and SSE under cloudy skies with a 50% chance of rain. Temperatures should reach 14% with a low of  7
Monday is the day that Eid is likely to be celebrated, so here is a slightly more detailed look at what you can expect. It will be partly cloudy in the morning, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain. High of 14°C. Winds from the South at 10 km/h shifting to the WNW in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20% with rainfall amounts near 0.8 mm possible.
Monday Night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Low of 7°C. Winds from the SSW at 5 km/h. Chance of rain 40% with rainfall amounts near 1.5 mm possible.
