Contemporary Celtic Folk Fusion Concert in Fez

The Alchemist's Wardrobe is a folk-world fusion group comprising Lara Conley, an English nu-folk artist playing original songs accompanied by multi-instrumentalist, Niks Patel and acclaimed Indian Classical cellist, Asha McArthy. They kick off their Moroccan tour in Fez, this Friday

The group's intricate vocal melodies are underpinned by beats on the Irish bodhran, work with the funky Australian slide didjeridu, adapted Indian electric slide sitar and percussion.

This contemporary fusion of Celtic folk with instruments from around the world has led them to perform at music festivals in the UK, including the Stroud Sacred Music Festival, inspired by the international festival here in Fes. Last summer they performed at the ALIF Riad during the Fez Festival of Sacred Music.
