In Fez: Focus on Women's Photography

Tomorrow in Fez the spotlight will fall on photography by and of women.

At the meeting of the ALIF-ALC Photography Club, there will be a discussion about what women have achieved in the field in the past and there are also plans afoot for the future.

"I would like to see us having an exhibition to coincide with International Women's Day next year on March 8," convenor Omar Chennafi says. "It would be great if we could not only have photographs of Moroccan women by club members, but also get local women to take photographs of each other. I think that we could get some interesting insights into their lives."

Anyone is welcome to attend the ALIF-ALC Photography Club meeting, which will be held at 10.30am tomorrow at the ALIF Riad. If you don't know the way, the group will be meeting at the Batha Hotel at 10am to walk down.

Excellente initiative!
