On Tuesday Morocco will celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the battle of J'Bel Badou carried out by Tafilalet tribesmen. The battle was one of the main battles carried out in Errachidia region and was a major contribution to the end of the French colonialism.
According to historians, between 1908 and 1934, residents of Errachidia and neighbouring tribes, showed an "incomparable courage and sense of patriotism and sacrifice to defend sacred values of the nation".
To celebrate this anniversary, the relatives of those who have sacrificed their lives for the cause, intend to pay tribute to members of the national liberation movement, including former detainees from Aghbalou Nikerdous and members of the Liberation Army.
