Fès Restoration Project

I have mentioned several times about restoration projects in the old medina of Fès. There is now a web link where you can see the progressiion of work from this ...

through to the finished product (seen with the master craftsman Si Abderrahim who did the carving)

The work is paid for as a donation by David Amster. David spends a vast amount of time encouraging others to also assist in the preservation of the medina that we all love so much. You can stay in David's Dar Bennis next time you are in Fès and I am certain he will be happy to show you his other projects. The View From Fès congratulates David and his team of craftsmen on a fine job.
