The View from Fez was unable to post yesterday due to the arrival on site of the band of electricians who are re-wiring Riad Zany.
Four very talented men attacked the walls with great speed and soon had all ground floor walls prepared. Deep channels were dug, plastic pipes inserted and in the process clouds of dust and piles of debris - about forty sacks worth! The entire riad looks like a bomb site.
All of this activity meant that our newly setup office had to be evacuated and computers protected. So once again we are camping in the courtyard. Hopefully, today will see the office back to normal - inshallah. In the meantime, excuse the slow pposting and the clouds of plaster dust!

I went to Morocco about five years ago and it really is an amazing place.
I bought a fez for my step-dad in the market in Marrakesh.
Great to see a blog from there.
Good lord ... good luck!
I have to laugh, imagining trying to work in a courtyard in Belgium. We just had a few hopeful (if hot) 30oC days but it's 13 and grey today.
