Morocco sends urgent aid to Lebanon and Palestine.

Morocco has sent the second convoy of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, who are suffering an Israeli aggression. Morocco has also flown urgent humanitarian aid to Lebanon. The plane carried 18 tons of medicines (MAD 5 million) and 16 tons of powdered milk, which Lebanese children desperately need.

The Moroccan aid, which headed towards Palestine through Amman, is provided by the government and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, under HM King Mohammed VI's instructions, reported MAP news agency.

This humanitarian aid comprises 135 tons of foodstuffs, sent on board nine trucks, five for the Gaza Strip and four for the West Bank.

It was first shipped to Jordan's Aqaba port before being sent to Amman and then to Palestine, in coordination with the Jordanian army and the Palestinian authorities.

Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan Muhammad Ma' Al Ein extended thanks to Jordan for its efforts in facilitating the delivery of relief aid to the Palestinian people, reported Jordanian official news agency PETRA.

”HM King Mohammed VI, head of Al Quds Committee, instructed the Moroccan government and the Mohammed V foundation to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people,” underlined the Ambassador.

The first convoy of this humanitarian aid, sent in July, contained 5,250 tons of milk, 50,400 tons of oil, 9,5 25 tons of sugar, 44,450 tons of rice and more than 15 tons of fish (sardine and thon).

Palestine, along with Lebanon, is currently suffering a lack of the basic life requirements because of the Israeli aggression and blockade.
