The Mezzanine Tapas Bar opened just in time for the Fes Festival, and is a great place to chill out. The View from Fez investigates ...Situated opposite the entrance to the Jnan Sbil gardens just outside Boujloud Square, this new venue over three levels is beautifully appointed and decorated with a colour scheme of grey and black tadelakt accented with bronze and red. The roof terrace, with its pink cushions, has a marvellous view over the gardens. Another new venture from Anass Sefrioui, it's managed by Kate Warburton from the UK.

Come in for a drink and sample the tapas. We chose the assortment at Dh100 and were happy with an aubergine and mayonnaise dip, briouates filled with blue cheese and served with balsamic vinegar, marinated anchovies with green olives, and an olive tapenade, all served with toast triangles. A Casablanca beer at Dh45 rounded off our lunch.
Mezzanine is open from 11h00 to 01h00.
