Fez Festival - Faces in the Crowd

One of the most interesting things about waiting for a concert to start, is people-watching. The View from Fez is always being asked, 'who's that?', so we made a point of finding out.

Newsweek reporters from New York, Klara and Vibhuti

The fascinating and erudite Johnny Mattisohn, international journalist from Cape Town

Everard from Australia kicks back...

Ethnologist Jasleen Dhamija from New Delhi

Nonnie from California who just loved Rachel Worby

Joseph Marando, photographer and author of the remarkable book Maroc Ordinaire

Renowned French architect Christiane Mars

Josephine and Geoff look for a seat

British publicity maven Mary Finnigan and photographer Susanna Wyatt

A thoughtful Jenny Barnard

Bridget Allon from Mullumbimby

Superagent Alison Pearl from Australia

Shabbir Banoobhai, poet from Cape Town, with his wife Ruxanna.
Shabbir gave The View from Fez a copy of his book, Wisdom in a Jug:

'knowledge
is the garment of the heart
its stitches - god's beautiful names'

Fez local, Kleo

Patricia from Brisbane

Some find the concerts very relaxing ...
