Flights into Africa from Morocco
One of the most difficult thing about flying from Morocco to the rest of Africa is the cost. In fact many flights are structured in such a way that you leave Morocco, fly to a European destination and then back to Africa. Hopefully that will change. One sign is the announcement made this week by Mustapha Cherqaoui, the Moroccan Ambassador to Nigeria that Nigeria and Morocco have signed a new air agreement. Nigeria and Morocco have concluded an air agreement to enable their airlines to operate eight flights a week into each other’s country.
According to Cherqaoui it will now take only four hours thirty minutes to travel from Nigeria to Morocco. “This new agreement will evidently facilitate the movement of goods and persons and the flow of investments between the two countries. “Such developments point to the potentiality of propelling Nigeria/Morocco’s relations to a higher level and consolidating the existing ties,’’ Cherqaoui said. The ambassador said there were endless possibilities for the two countries to explore for the greater prosperity and wellbeing of their peoples.
“I am quite confident that in the years to come, the collective will of the governments and peoples of the two countries will forge new means of partnership that would benefit not only the two countries, but also the African continent as a whole,’’ he added.
It is not clear which Nigerian airline will operate the service though Royal Air Maroc will almost certainly fly the flag for Morocco.

Thanks God! that annoucement sounds good to me, i am very glad because i have my office in Lagos and its second branch in Morocco. Often i have to visit my office 4-5 times in a month. It was very expensive and time wasting for me. Now after that service i can easily manage it. Earlier I was about to wind up my branch due to time and money.
