As our previous story was about "The lure of Moroccan food" we decided to post this small story about our least favourite restaurant in Fez.
According to Al-Tajdid, McDonald's has published an apology to all Moroccans:
The McDonald's fast food chain in Morocco has apologized for publishing a map it distributed in its Happy Meals that did not include the Morocco's Western Sahara within the country's borders.
In its letter of apology, which followed a public protest, the chain expressed its regret for the "inaccurate" demarcation of Morocco's border. Morocco and the "Polisario Front" are still in dispute over sovereignty of the area.
