Le Centre des Arts Visuels, Electroniques et du Multimédia (IRISSON) organise du 30 mars au 4 Avril 2009 à Casablanca (Maroc) cette 2ème édition du Festival International des Arts Visuels et des Nouveaux Médias (FAN).
The 2009 edition of the Festival (March 30 to April 4) is to receive a national and international programming of well-known artists, in the fields of performing arts, video, electronic music, dance, sound creation and new media.
Many spaces in Casablanca and other Moroccan cities will host performances, shows, video and multimedia interactive installations, as well as video screenings.
Several events for young artists, as well as research professors and experts, are organized in the framework of the Festival, namely:
* workshops for young artists
* 2 video competitions for young artists:
* "International competition of Art and Film schools"
* "Pocket videos"
* International conference on "Digital Arts and Culture: towards new identities ?"
Professional artists and young creators in the field of visual arts and new media who wish to apply to 2009 FAN are invited to send a copy of their works under DVD format, together with a CV and a technical form (title, year of production, running time, synopsis, technical crew…) to the following address:
