This afternoon at 1 pm, Jacob Bender's film, Out of Cordoba, will be screened at the Jnan Palace.
This feature documentary challenges the notion of a "clash of civilisations" as it focuses on two important figures from medieval Spain - Averroes, the Muslim and Rabbi Moses Maimonides, the Jew.

However, Bender's film, subtitled "Averroes and Maimonides in their time and ours", is not simply an historical account, but an examines contemporary tensions between Muslims, Jews and Christians.
Jacob Bender is an important voice in the debate over a just solution to the Israeli - Palestinian conflict.
