The city of Fez (and much of Morocco) has been hit by an unseasonal heatwave. However, winds the past few days have been from the east to northeast, preventing the ocean breeze from developing. To put these temperatures in comparison to normal, the average daily high at the end of June is 26 degrees C. Temperatures will soar above 38 degrees again before some cooler weather returns by the end of the week.
This week in Fez expect 38 today and tops of around 38 for the next couple of days. Night temperatures are dropping to between 12 and 13 degrees C.
