Morocco's Daylight Saving To End Sunday


According to the Ministry of Public Service and Modernisation, Morocco will return to GMT time on Sunday October 27 starting 03.00 am



Morocco has been observing daylight saving time during summer with an interruption in the fasting month of Ramadan.

This year there was a last minute decision to extend daylight saving by a month. The decree being made only a few hours before the end of daylight saving through the tourist industry into chaos as schedules required changing.

The decree( 2.13.781) also stipulated that Morocco's DST period in future years will run from 2:00 a.m. (02:00) on the last Sunday in March to 3:00 a.m. (03:00) on the last Sunday in October.
