The Green March public holiday in Fez was a fine excuse to get out of the office and wander the streets. So The View from Fez team visited Fes Jdid (New Fez) - a section of the Medina built in the 12th century - where locals were stocking up on warm winter clothes; saw a street barber in action, the tribe of white cats and their offspring in the Jnan Sbil public gardens and paused for a coffee at the colourful La Nouria, or the Waterwheel, on the edge of the gardens.
