At the core of al-andalus, it represents a bridge between the Islamic World and Europe. It has been a place for advancement of the sciences and arts as we know them. Today, its heart is still beating. The International Artists’ Gathering seeks to exchange knowledge between local and international arts organisations for the development of a sacred arts programme in Fez which preserves and represents its unique spirit." - Fez GatheringExhibition curator, Pascual Jorden and Friedrich Prinz zur Lippe, the Son of Rudolph zur Lippe (one of the exhibition artists), were in Fez last week to inspect the locations for the gathering and to meet up with cultural institutions such as the ALC and IFF and other local cultural association.
