British advised to "take care" in Morocco.

According to the British site Go Travel Insurance, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is upgrading travel advice for its citizens travelling to Morocco.

Following a suicide bombing in Casablanca on March 11th, the FCO is advising any British tourists travelling to the north African country to be careful.

Although it claimed most visits are incident-free, the office warned that violent crime in major cities and along beaches is on the increase as the country is reported to suffer from a high state of terrorism.

Meanwhile, tourists were also advised that Morocco's roads are generally unsafe as the FCO reported "accidents are frequent, especially on busy major routes. The main road from Agadir to Marrakech via Imi'n Tanoute and Chichaoua has been reported as particularly hazardous".
The FCO has also advised consumers to ensure they have sufficient medical and travel insurance cover for the activities they are looking to take part in before they go away.

Three people were injured in the Sunday evening attack which took place in the Sidi Moumen area of the city.
