One thing that strikes you about the Medina during the hot months is the sudden drop off in tourists - once crowded souqs are easy to navigate through, the language around you is Darija, not English and French... and everyone, so it seems, is searching for the shade...
The souqs are silent ...
...except for R'cif...
... and the men, take it easy.
