World Cup Madness
Jallaluddin had two tickets for the Soccer World Cup Opening Ceremony at Soccer City in Johannesburg last Friday.
As Jallaluddin sat down, a gentleman asked him if anyone was sitting in the empty seat next to him.
"No," Jallaluddin said. "The seat is empty."
"This is incredible!" said the gentleman.
"Who in their right mind would have a seat for the Soccer World Cup Opening Ceremony, the biggest sporting event in the history of the continent, and not use it?"
"Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me, but she passed away."
"Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative to take the seat?"
"No. They're all at the funeral...."
