With more than 33,000 Australian tourists visiting Morocco each year and a growing number living and working here, Australian authorities have decided it's time to let them know what services are on offer and find out what more are needed.
Australians living or visiting Morocco, who would like to discuss any issues of concern to themselves as Australians (or expats) will have the opportunity in Fez on Tuesday March 20 at 6.30pm.
The Consul General from the Australian Embassy in Paris, Anthea Griffin, will be at Fes Cafe, Le Jardin des Biehn, accompanied by Consular Regional Manager Tricia Martino and Consular Officer Peter Cullen. Mr Oussama Alaoui, the Australian Austrade representative, will also be present to discuss Australian/Morocco business. Food and drinks will be served during the evening.
Peter Cullen says, "We would really like to meet as many people as possible on this occasion and it will be an occasion to share ideas with your Embassy and fellow Australians. The choice of evenings has been difficult and I hope that being a Tuesday evening does not create too many problems for you to be able to attend."
PLEASE NOTE: If you may be interested in attending the function please contact peter.cullen@dfat.gov.au to request an invitation.
You can find Fes Cafe at 13 Akbat Sbaa Douh, 30200 Fez Medina. Phone: 0664 647 679.

Somebody should ask why it is that you can't exchange Aussie dollars in Morocco. It is a bit of an inconvenience.
