The first edition of the Urban Arts Festival was organised by the French Institute in Fez. Today was the final day and concluded with a day-long Hip Hop contest
The event, held at the old Cinema Boujloud, started at 10 in the morning and was still going at 6 in the evening.

The audience, overwhelmingly Moroccan teenage boys, were wrapped up in the spectacle and, as one young Moroccan said, mistaking me for a French speaker, "Génial, formidable ... merveilleuse!" And I guess it was.
Congratulations to the French Institute for holding an event that made a young local audience very happy.
